Ahead of the festive season in India, Oppo started to tease new products and special editions of their most popular smartphones and accessories. Just recently, the company unveiled a new Oppo F19s smartphone with a special Glowing Gold colorway to celebrate this time of the year. Now, it is bringing the all-new Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition and the new blue color variant of the Oppo Enco Buds.
The new Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition comes in a special Majestic Gold colorway. So, if you didn’t appreciate the original colors and want something fancier, then, the new color may be your opportunity to grab this entry-level flagship smartphone.
Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition specifications
Despite the new colorway, the new variant is pretty much equal to other Reno6 Pro units. Under the hood, the new smartphone carries MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. The device focuses in the camera department with a Quad-camera setup. The primary snapper is a 64 MP shooter which is joined by an 8 MP ultrawide module. Moreover, it comes with a 2 MP macro snapper and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32 MP selfie snapper that sits on a top-left aligned punch-hole.
The Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition retains the 6.55-inch AMOLED panel of its vanilla sibling. The panel comes with a Full HD resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Reno6 Pro 5G draws powers from a massive 4,500 mAh battery, with support for 65W SuperVOOC flash charging. The device runs ColorOS 11 based on Android 11, however, a unique Diwali UI is running on top.
As you may imagine this is a limited edition smartphone and comes with a unique package. Oppo will sell it in limited quantities, so you may have a short window to purchase it. The device will be sold for INR 41,990 ($565) for the sole 12 GB / 256 GB variant. It will go on sale through Flipkart starting October 6th. It will also be available via Oppo’s online store.
